What we collect
When you visit this capability website, Meroy records technical information needed to understand site activity: the date and time, full IP address, page and referring URL, campaign parameters, browser and device information, language, time zone, viewport size, scroll milestones, video activity, and clicks on contact or external links.
This information describes a browser session. The site does not use device fingerprinting and does not claim to identify a visitor by name.
How sessions work
A random session identifier is held in your browser’s session storage while the tab is open. It is not a persistent tracking cookie and is removed by the browser when the tab session ends. A secure session cookie is used only if an authorized Meroy administrator signs in to the private analytics area.
Why we use it
Meroy uses this information to measure visits, understand campaign and referral sources, see which portfolio work is viewed, improve the website, and investigate reliability or security issues. Analytics data is not sold.
Retention and access
Technical visit and event records are retained for 90 days and then deleted. Access is limited to the password-protected Meroy administration area. Database credentials and administrator authentication data are stored outside the public website directory.
External services
Portfolio videos are delivered by Meroy’s Bunny CDN host when you choose to play them. Links to Google Drive, Instagram and LinkedIn take you to those services, where their own privacy terms apply.
